  There are some things you will just tolerate and then there are things you just want put up with, and bad service is one of them. The experience at this location was subpar and it is really disappointing because I really like the Original House of Pancakes, just not this one. From the nonchalant service, to the lazy kitchen staff was just way too much to try and withstand. I ordered an omelet with egg whites and it was served half cooked, I brought it to the attention of the waitress and she offered to have them cook it a little more. I thought that was a bite much sense they didn’t cook it right the first time, so I obliged her and let her take it back to the kitchen. When she brought it back to the table it was in the same condition as when she took it back half cooked. I told her it was still half cooked and her reply to me is that’s how egg whites cook; I was flabbergasted at her reply. I was not about to eat uncooked eggs and I told her to take it back to the kitchen and I was not going to eat it. More insult to injury they said they would take the omelet off my bill, as if they were going to charge me for the meal. Totally disappointed was hoping for more but received less.

  Great for food allergy families! Our youngest & I have many common food allergies and they are very responsive. The manager is extremely helpful, we found out the last time we were there that the owner had food allergies, too. They will show labels, have individualized lights in the kitchen, and even a special plate. I didn't get the normal "look" from the waitresses when wiping down the height chair and table around my daughter.
  
  If you are trace level then I'd suggest calling ahead but otherwise their pancake mix is pretty decent but make sure to mention what you have anyways so they know to adjust non-mix ingredients like egg.
  
  Pro-tip: call or get the app to make a reservation - they are almost always very busy. That being said, they are worth the wait! So much better than ihop, great pancakes, amazing thick cut bacon, many crafted coffee and tea options.

  Great breakfast and lunch during the week. Always friendly service. Extremely busy on weekends and Holidays. Either get there before 10am or after 1:30pm.
